Coconut Oil Obsessed!

So I have recently reconnected with the long lost love of coconut oil. Here are the ways that I love using it!

1) Hair Mask- When I know i'm not doing anything and I have the time I take coconut oil and cover my whole head in it. From root to tip, ideally I like it sleep in it with a towel on the pillow up in a bun but, if i'm not able to then as soon as I get home from work I put it in my hair and leave it in for several hours till I shower. It leaves my hair so soft!

2)Teeth Whitening- This is called oil pulling I do it every so often when I remember. You take a spoon full of coconut oil and swish it around your more for between 5-20 minutes. Then you spit it out in the trash NOT THE SINK I put this in caps because coconut oil can go from a liquid state to a solid state which can clog your drains. F.Y.I.the consistency takes some getting used to.

3)Body Oil- I use this on my belly every so often. I have a couple differently oils I use on my belly which is in the belly time post. Its so hydrating and smells delicious.

4)Makeup Remover- So I had this suggested to me by a family member but never tried until a few days ago. I had forgot my normal makeup remover at home during my time house sitting for my parents. I definitely didn't want to sleep in my makeup so I took some coconut oil put a little on a cotton pad and it took my eye makeup off so easy and comfortably as well as my face makeup. I then washed my face with my normal face wash. My face was so soft after I never thought I would be excited to take my makeup off everyday.

5) Food/Drinks- So this is the only one that I haven't tried but I have heard things about. You can cook your food in coconut oil instead of vegetable oil. As well as using it as a substitute when baking. Coconut oil in small moderation put into a smoothie can also be beneficial to your digestive system. Plus it adds a nice tropical feeling to your smoothies.

Hope these were some helpful tricks to coconut oil. Be careful you may end up like me coconut oil obsessed.
Lots of love,
Mylisa :)
