Fit4mom

So recently being a stay at home mom I needed something else to do. I needed mom friends! Being my age with a child is awesome but, a lot of women my age are starting careers or in college. So it was super hard to relate with a lot of my friends. I had a friend tell me she wanted to try this work out class and I needed to come with her. Awesome I wanted to lose weight as well I was 10 weeks postpartum and ready to be back in shape! I clearly said yes and this was one of the best decisions Ive made! Fit4moms has not only given me some of the most awesome moms that have become such great friends to me. With the hard work of going to classes when ever I can sometimes even twice a day and choosing the right decisons when it comes to eating i'm back to my high school weight! Every mom should know about this program. They do family work out day where the husbands get to join, family field trips and my favorite moms night out once a month. Not only is it for moms but, my whole family gets to be included to I don't know what more I could ask for. I just love how i'm able to get fit with my child no excuses.

If you have any questions about this program feel free to message me or go on there Facebook, instagram, or website! I hope you join!

Euphoric Herbals.

If you have never heard of this company and you are a breastfeeding momma you need to read! I have always had a fear of drying up or not being able to produce enough milk for my little one. So since the beginning I read everything I could read on breastfeeding, storage, supplements and foods to eat and foods to avoid. As soon as I had Avery I was a pumping machine I would pump after every feeding and at night. I was able to build a good stock pile but, of course it started to get old. I was a stay at home mom she was with me at all times and I stopped pumping. I regret this! My supply started to get low and when I went back to Pumping I wasn't pumping nearly as much as i used to and  I was freaked out. I went on a quest to re-up my supply. I tried teas, eating certain foods and then I ordered supplements. A mixture of some of these became perfect for me now I know its not going to be the same for everyone but, there is hope to finding something that works! I tried two different teas one that worked ok (Earth Mama Milkmaid Teas) and one that did not (Milkmakers Original).

The Earth Mama worked ok but I still wanted a better supply so thats when I tried Euphoric Herbals. I read about them on instagram and I couldn't find anything bad and only good things. I first tried their milk machine supplements with the same results as the tea an ok supply up than I had. I then tried there Dairy Fairy and all my prays had been answered! I was able to feed avery all day and have an extra 9 ounces to go into freezer definitely a dream I now have a shelf in my freezer and Three shelves in the fridge filled with milk. You never know when you will need it! I hope this helps!

Pregnancy Update 34 weeks!

How i'm 34 weeks and 8 months pregnant I have no clue. Time goes by so quick. Thankfully I have been blessed to have a good pregnancy so far. My weight gain has only been around 20 pounds thank you Jesus I hope it only goes up a tad more and its all in the belly! I pray the next time around this happens again. Feeling your normal fatigue as well as not being able to sleep. I know what your thinking how could I feel both but, I do tired during the day as night comes I cant sleep. I crave sweets all the time and i'm on a Slurpee kick. I definitely cant wait to have Avery here already, this whole waiting almost 10 months for a baby is a long time to wait!

Camping while Pregnant!

Weekends are our favorite, so several weekends ago we went Tent camping! Yes you read that right tent camping while i'm 7 months pregnant. I was a little nervous to do this but, i'm so glad I did it. We camped on convict lake campgrounds a little before mammoth. We went fishing both days something I had never done before. It was was so peaceful and nice to not have our phones the whole weekend, I brought my pregnancy pillow as well as Devin has an air mattress you can blow up using the car lighter so we had that as well. Being comfortable was not an issue thank god! I was able to relax and watch Devin fish comfortably. I feel like people have this idea that once your pregnant or once you have a baby thats it you can't do anything. Though it gets hard I am definitely going to prove people wrong on how much you can do!

This past weekend I had the most amazing baby shower a girl could ask for. I couldn't be more thankful for the family and friends that showered us with so much love and gifts for our beautiful Avery Harper Allen. We finally revealed the name at the baby shower as well which was exciting, we couldn't hold it in anymore! All of our parents did such an awesome job in supporting us and putting together this whole beautiful baby shower. Here are a few pictures from this great day!

Coconut Oil Obsessed!

So I have recently reconnected with the long lost love of coconut oil. Here are the ways that I love using it!

1) Hair Mask- When I know i'm not doing anything and I have the time I take coconut oil and cover my whole head in it. From root to tip, ideally I like it sleep in it with a towel on the pillow up in a bun but, if i'm not able to then as soon as I get home from work I put it in my hair and leave it in for several hours till I shower. It leaves my hair so soft!

2)Teeth Whitening- This is called oil pulling I do it every so often when I remember. You take a spoon full of coconut oil and swish it around your more for between 5-20 minutes. Then you spit it out in the trash NOT THE SINK I put this in caps because coconut oil can go from a liquid state to a solid state which can clog your drains. F.Y.I.the consistency takes some getting used to.

3)Body Oil- I use this on my belly every so often. I have a couple differently oils I use on my belly which is in the belly time post. Its so hydrating and smells delicious.

4)Makeup Remover- So I had this suggested to me by a family member but never tried until a few days ago. I had forgot my normal makeup remover at home during my time house sitting for my parents. I definitely didn't want to sleep in my makeup so I took some coconut oil put a little on a cotton pad and it took my eye makeup off so easy and comfortably as well as my face makeup. I then washed my face with my normal face wash. My face was so soft after I never thought I would be excited to take my makeup off everyday.

5) Food/Drinks- So this is the only one that I haven't tried but I have heard things about. You can cook your food in coconut oil instead of vegetable oil. As well as using it as a substitute when baking. Coconut oil in small moderation put into a smoothie can also be beneficial to your digestive system. Plus it adds a nice tropical feeling to your smoothies.

Hope these were some helpful tricks to coconut oil. Be careful you may end up like me coconut oil obsessed.

Mylisa :)
